Pantalha registered another successful IBC in 2019, full of news, partnerships and new solutions for our customers. But a special highlight is made this year for a partner that has been with Pantalha since its opening in 1990: RTS, intercom systems. In the last twelve months, Pantalha participated in two projects of great relevance and magnitude: the transition from SIC's information studios to Edifício Impresa and the renovation / expansion of RTP's intercom systems.
The SIC project, due to its completely IP nature, was the perfect place to implement the recent OMNEO technology, a network architecture specially designed for intercommunication audio transmission. Also considering all the analog infrastructure already present at SIC's facilities, this project became even more ambitious and interesting due to its component of integrating the new equipment together with “legacy” equipment. It is important to mention that SIC has been a customer of the RTS / Pantalha partnership since its founding in 1992, so the renewal of the vote of confidence in this partnership is exciting and a consequence of the satisfaction that the customer obtains with this quality equipment.
RTP, on the other hand, decided to take the step towards RTS, partly because of the brand's success around the world, but above all because of the impeccable quality they found in their tests with the equipment. RTP together with Pantalha has been installing several clusters of equipment in the Porto, Madeira and Lisbon delegations and even in outdoor cars, making use of OMNEO technology so that the systems are all interconnected and communication between the delegations is more efficient. This ongoing project represents, once again, a great vote of confidence in this partnership, but also the need to use the best equipment possible for the client's requirements.
As a result of these projects and many more clients from Portugal abroad that this year bet and worked with RTS, Pantalha received the distinguished RTS Seller of the Year Award globally, an honor that leaves us flattered, humble but with more will than never to do more and better. In addition to thanking RTS for its unconditional support, technical and commercial "expertise", we would like to leave a special note of great appreciation to our customers, without whom we would not have obtained this honorable distinction.
