Notícias The latest news from our partners in this IBC

As promised, in this and the next news, we will disclose the solutions and news presented by some of our partners at IBC 2023. In this 1/3 part, we bring you the solutions and innovations that will be highlighted during the fair by our partners Ross Video, VSN, RTS, Intinor and XentauriX.

Ross Video

Ross Video announced that this year’s theme for IBC will be “From idea to audience, let’s make it real” highlighting the countless creative possibilities that can be made reality with its solutions.

The Ross stand will feature an integrated LED panel solution consisting of two new families of LED displays that can be used in a wide variety of applications, from live events to “digital signage” and the well-known Extended Reality (End-to-end XR) that includes LEDs, robotics systems, camera tracking and high-quality rendering.

We also have a preview of Voyager 5.1 and a demonstration of the new Carbonite Ultra 60, a high-performance production switcher that supports up to 60x25 in HD or UHD. Accompanying this switcher will be the latest TouchDrive production panels (TD3 and TD4) that offer greater control capabilities for demanding and more complex live productions.

Our partner invites us to try out their hyperconverged solutions, which simplify and optimize video production operations while saving space and energy.

At IBC 2023, discover Quorum, a meeting control solution that makes creating broadcast-quality meeting content easy and efficient, and Catena, an “open suite” for seamless integration of multiple systems, stream workflow and improved orchestration to optimize production processes.

Finally, Ross will also present its workflow solutions for newsrooms and its Spidercam, with advanced cable tracking technology.

RTS

The RTS will have a demonstration of  RNP (“Required Navigation Programming”)  implementing NMOS protocols. The RNP acts as a proxy between RTS OMNEO-based devices and non-RTS NMOS third-party products such as NMOS explorers, NMOS nodes, and NMOS controllers. Functions such as “Discovery and Registration” will be demonstrated, Broadcast controllers that allow you to identify and manage new devices through automated workflows, “Device Connection Management”, where broadcast controllers integrate IS-05 devices through a common method and without the need for drivers for stream connection management and, finally, “Audio Channel Mapping”, which enables users to manage audio channels through a control system in a uniform way and without the need to develop Custom drivers for each different device.

The RTS will demonstrate ODIN's redundancy and glitch-free capability where, in the event of a device failure, the system will switch to a backup device or second network and all digital connections will be automatically transferred.

They will demonstrate the latest firmware version for the ODIN array and OMNEO master station (OMS) that features support for Call light support in various contexts.

RTS will also present the new PH+ headset, which combines better audio quality and comfort for more demanding environments.

The new DSPK4 will also be on display, an enhanced IP-based speaker, now with high-quality digital audio and the use of standard ethernet for easier integration into any infrastructure.

Finally, RTS VLink will also be present, the virtual matrix software solution that provides professional communications through standard ethernet connections or a dedicated and secure LAN, WAN or VPN.
