FNAC Portugal approached Pantalha with the challenge of strengthening its digital footprint in its cultural spaces, starting with the store at Colombo, in Lisbon. These spaces, which welcome a diverse audience passionate about culture, required a solution that would not only optimize the capture of every detail of performances, talks, and presentations but also make the production process more efficient and engaging — both for in-store audiences and for viewers on FNAC’s digital platforms.
The Solution
To meet these needs, three Canon CR-N300 PTZ cameras were installed, along with the Canon RC-IP100 controller. This setup enables precise and flexible multi-camera control, capturing high-quality images from multiple angles and delivering a more dynamic and captivating production.
To integrate audio and video, the Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI Pro ISO video mixer was provided. This tool allows real-time video mixing as well as simultaneous recording from all cameras, enabling a faster and more efficient post-production process. The final signal (PGM) is transmitted directly to FNAC’s platform, which manages its distribution across multiple in-store screens.
Results and Impact
