Blackmagic Design has announced 3 new solutions: The ATEM Television Studio HD8 and HD8 ISO, a new line of all-in-one live production switchers, the Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro, a new studio camera model, and the ATEM Microphone Converter, a new analog to digital audio converter.
ATEM Television Studio HD8
The new line of all-in-one live production switchers, ATEM Television Studio HD8, combine professional features and ultimate portability.
The new switchers include professional-grade control panels and advanced features like streaming and recording. There is also an ISO model, which offers recording of all video inputs and connection of up to eight remote cameras. The new models also support live streaming, talkback and optional internal storage.
The new ATEM Television Studio HD8 is an all-in-one professional live production switcher ideal for high-end work and maximum portability. This means it can be used in tight spaces without access to equipment racks and in mobile broadcast units.
This switcher includes eight standard-converted SDI inputs, two aux outputs, four chroma-keyers, two DSKs, SuperSource, two media players and various transitions. This solution also integrates a number of features for TV studios, such as hardware-based streaming, recording, audio mixer, talkback, multiview and optional internal cloud storage. The ISO template records the eight entries for editing.

Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K PRO
The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is a new studio camera model that includes:
- Mount EF lenses;
- 6K Super 35 sensor for improved colorimetry and handling of fine details;
- ND filters;
- Integrated live streaming via Ethernet or mobile data.
The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro shares the same compact, all-in-one design as the Studio Camera family, with a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate body, a large built-in 7” HDR viewfinder and powerful professional connections.
It was also announced the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2, an updated model that now includes built-in live streaming.
Blackmagic Studio Cameras have the same features as larger studio cameras, but miniaturized in a compact, portable design. With the same dynamic range and color science as digital cinema cameras, Studio Cameras deliver cinematic images even in unfavorable lighting conditions. With an ISO of up to 25,600, the sensor produces amazing images, even in dimly lit locations.
Advanced features include talkback, tally, camera control, built-in color corrector, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB disks and much more.
In addition, the new Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro G2 models add built-in live streaming via Ethernet or mobile data so users can remotely install cameras virtually anywhere in the world and receive the stream on the new ATEM Television consoles Studio HD8.

ATEM Microphone Converter
The ATEM Microphone Converter is an analog to digital audio converter that lets you add more microphones to ATEM switchers, like the new ATEM Television Studio HD8.
Thanks to the MADI connection, this solution does not require any complex configuration, you just need to connect a conventional BNC cable. In addition, it offers incredible quality with an extremely low noise-to-noise ratio of -129 dBV, dynamic range of 131 dB(A), low distortion of 0.002% and uniform tolerances on all channels. It even includes an HDMI monitoring output with waveform display for each input channel.
This solution makes it easy to expand the MADI input of ATEM switchers and add multiple microphones or external audio mixers.
The ATEM Microphone Converter simply plugs into the ATEM Television Studio HD8's MADI port, no complex setup required, and multiple units can be daisy chained, providing even more sources.
The converter has four analogue inputs, including mic/line selection and 48V power. The audio quality is incredible, with an extremely low noise-to-noise ratio, wide dynamic range and low distortion. This converter still uses eight separate ADCs, one per input, which work together to extend the dynamic range and also includes an output for monitoring HDMI audio waveforms.
